I need some help. I need to know what stomp would give me a super thick low end growl but not diminish the articulation of the chord. I play metal, death metal and nu-metal [slipknot]

thanks for the help

G2D Morpheus

It's what I have for heavy stuff. Pretty scary, with a range of great sounds, and a really great mid-control.

Also, it has an inbuilt noise gate, meaning you don't have to suffer lots of noise on stage when you're using high-gain.

You might also check out the Radial Tonebone Hotbritish pedal. On Ebay, I see them as low as $160 now. $229 is the normal street price. That's one pedal that never sounds ratty at low bedroom levels, also.

I get great results from my Tech 21 XXL pedal. They don't make these anymore, but you can find these on eBay once in awhile. You can dial in some seriously FAT tones yet retain all the high end sparkle. It never gets muddy- notes seem to swell and sing depending on picking style. I use it to fatten up things- especially if I'm playing a down-tuned or 7 string guitar.

Ditto. My friend's ToneBone Classic rules too, but it's not as heavy.

However, I've heard wonderful things about that G2D Morpheus, so that's probably the best way to go.
