Seth Lover Bridge ...

Yanked the Custom out of my son's Epi LP today and replaced it with a Seth because he was looking for something with less output.

Wow .... what a great pickup!! Great versatility and all kinds of cool harmonics and controlled feedback fun. It just seems to have so much life compared to the Custom that was in there. I couldn't set the guitar down .... good thing my son is not around tonight!!

everyone seems to love Seths

I have the stock Seths in my Hamer Artist, but I haven't played it enough. I'll have to get it out and crank it a little tomorrow.
The Seths do seem pretty lively and responsive.

I've got 59s in my Hamer Artist Korina and I'm back and forth about whether I really like them or not. Everytime I decide to yank them, I get some really good tones from them. I've been thinking about the Seths, but I just can't seem to pull the trigger.

It's hard to improve on something that needs no improvement. :laugh2: The 59's are excellant...the Seths are equally excellant. There's reasons to love them both and I truly do not think one is "better" than the other.

I do kind of like the alnico 2 Seth a little better as a neck pickup because to my ears it has a little less bass and that makes it easier for me to get a clear, warm neck pickup tone with less "mud" when I want to.

But the alnico 5 59B or 59TB has been a favorite bridge humbucker of mine for years because that deeper alnico 5 bass seems to me to be a plus in the bright, stringy, thin sounding bridge position next to the bridge where the strings barely move and generate so little bass in that position.

I have a pair of Seths I bought from you and I love 'em!! They are great pickups - glad you like 'em too! :D

I love the Seth's. They ripped when I had them in my Epi Sheraton. If you like the Seths, try the Pearly Gates next. It's a great pickup along the same lines as the Seth, but with a bit more cut.
