Seth microphonic squeal???

Big Blue

How big of a problem is microphonic feedback with the Seths? Everyone says "it only happens under high gain", but high gain is a relative term. High gain to a blues/rock player and high gain to a death metal player are two totally different things!

My only OD is a Fulltone '69 fuzz with a Fulltone Fat-Boost that I will use to primarily fatten up my tone (as opposed to boosting for solos and the like). I run the fuzz control on the '69 full clockwise and use the volume knob on my guitar to control the amount of gain I want. If I put a set of Seths in my LP Standard, would I have a problem with microphonic feedback at these settings?

Thanks for any and all help!:burnout:

I doubt you'll have a problem with microponics, besides, if they happen you can always cut them off by rolling down the volume knob.

Re: Seth microphonic squeal???

I run an Antiquity set into my Mesa rack on a semi regular basis and I haven't made them squeal yet.

I wouldn't worry about it.
