So, we know the basics of scooping and mid-peaking, but what are some other classic settings for a 7 band EQ pedal. Boss provides 3.
Sharp Rhythm (Funk)- Cut the middle frequency bands around 800Hz and boost at 1.6kHz.
Boosted solos (mid-boost)- Boost 200 to 3.2, peaking at 800Hz
For Metal (Scooped)-Cut the middle band around 800Hz and boost the lower and higher frequency bands.
This is one of the most versatile pedals. I just got it last night and have already found 50 new sounds/tones. What other settings do you guys use?
