More dynamic? I would describe a JB as compressed, aka less dynamic. Especially since this one has a ceramic magnet.
 
I've always thought the JB & tele as a winning couple, there is something in the JB eq which reminds me the biting upper mid of a good tele pickup. The JB has ever been for me the natural 'tele on steroids' sound
