Seymour Duncan Five-Two middle for strat

It will sound good with a Jazz neck splitted and a Custom bridge splitted too?
I'm thinking about a Custom / Five-Two / Jazz or 59 in a superstrat with a 5-way switch with auto-split. So the positions 2 and 4 will be the Five-Two and one of the humbuckers splitted with hum cancellation, but i don't know if the five-two will sound good with these humbuckers.

It's a mahogany body and neck, maple top and pau ferro fingerboard.

I had the five/two in the middle of my superstrat and I loved it.

set it very low for maximum quack and you won't regret it. :headbang:

i have a 5/2 in the middle and i like it as well. depending on the coil of the bucker you split to, yes it can be humcancelling

Mine's paired with a JB in the bridge although I'm considering going for something lower in output.
either a 78 or a PG.
I realise that if I do, I'll lose some of the position 2 tone though.
The JB splits beautifully with the Five/Two.
I run mine with 2 x 250K pots.

I have a Kinman single in the neck because I need noiseless in that position.

It works well with both.

If the make a flat pole one, go for that.

I think they work much better in the middle and also helps keep the poles away from your picking.

i'm thinking about Custom Trembucker / Five-Two RW-RP / Pearly Gates neck. With auto-split 2 and 4 positions.
I heard a lot of good things about Pearly Gates at clean and distorted styles. What do you guys think?

I'd say JB in the bridge.

The split sound will be much sweeter.

You can also use 250k pots all round with that set and it'll sound amazing.

I much prefer my JB and Five/Two with 250k pots.

It won't be to high on the mids? My guitar is mahogany body and neck and this wood have high mids and from what i hear the JB got a bunch of mids too.
