Seymour Duncan Full Shred VS JB, let's see who wins lol

Hi guys, many months ago, I did a pickup swap. However, 5 months later, I still could not find myself a free time to at least practice guitar and compare between the new and old pickup. In the following soundtrack, you can clearly tell that I've lost all the "skills" when I played with my JB. However, the purpose of me for posting this clip is for you guys to compare the tone between Full Shred and JB in the Bridge position.

I seem to like the scream of the Full Shred,
and the warm tone of the JB.

Is there a pickup that have the best of both worlds?

Which pickup do you think sounds the best here?

P.S. The first one is the Full Shred, the second is the JB. Have fun!

I prefer the JB in that...it's got a chewier, more "alive" kinda sound, and I feel like it sits better in the mix too.

The JB seems more harmonically rich and has that perfect top end that sounds juicy and searing hot. The Full Shred seemed sort of bland in comparison.

Great work!

Between the two (and your overall setup), the Full Shred sounds thinner, but a bit sweeter on the top. The JB sounds fuller and crunchier for sure.

As far as a pickup with the warmth of the JB and the scream of the Full Shred, my only suggestion is maybe trying the Custom 5.
