I'm giving thought to have a set installed in an Epiphone Casino Coupe. There is a Gibson version of this guitar Gibson ES390 w/ minihums, but it is out of my retirement income range. I already have Casino Coupe with rebuilt P90s and it is surprisingly outstanding. The size, weight, neck comfort all suits me very well. I'd like to pickup a used Casino Couple to use with the Humbucker under P90 Dogear. Thing is, the neck bobbin is an odd size on Casinos and Wildcats and you can't use the standard neck dogeared P90. I wonder if there would be a problem with SD offering??

Should be fine. But if you are open to it, TV Jones offers all of their pickups in P90 housing for less than $320 a set. I'd look their, but if you are set on SD (nothing wrong with that ) you should have no issues.

You can buy shims for a couple bucks each that fix the bridge/neck height differences. I got Duncan Antiquity P-90s and a set of shims.
