Seymour Duncan Liberator

Re: Seymour Duncan Liberator

I would have thought that this would be the place to get an answer as its about many SD parts.

Re: Seymour Duncan Liberator

I think your problem is that the diagram is complex and no-one here has done it before.

The best way to diagnose issues with a custom scheme like this is to meter the resistance you are seeing at the jack for each switch setting without the pots connected. If that looks correct then you can elimnate one variable on work on the correct pot configuration for each individual pot. Crocodile clips are essential as you may need to unsolder pots to get it right...the meter is the best way to fault find.

Any custom diagram about H-S-S 5 way switch wiring?

That's a good question, the wiring diagrams on the website are rather..lacking. I'm curious to know how it can be used with 2 humbuckers and a 5 way switch like in an Ibanez

Yes, I have one of my Ibanez set up with a Liberator set up like this. It really isn't that hard. Wire the Liberator wires to the switch like the wiring already there, and then install your pickups to match the patterns. If you have DiMarzio pickups in the guitar, swap the red and white around in place of the black and white DiMarzio wires.
