Seymour Duncan P90 Stack series wiring

P90 style pickup is my favorite, but since I am a hobbyist and play various genres, so noise is often inconvenient at times.
So I'm considering the P90 stack.

Looking at the wiring diagram, parallel wiring seems to be the standard method of wiring.
Since it comes out as a four-conductor rather than a two-conductor, I am curious about it.

By any chance, what sound does this pickup make when wired in series?
In theory, it's supposed to be a thick, hot sound, but what's it really like? Does it often sound useful?
There were no sound samples to refer to on the Web.

And I am currently using Gibson P90 and I wonder what the sound is like compared to that.
I've used Gibson P100 before, and I know people says it's a garbage. But I used it well.
Is it a sound close to P100 with the same structure, or a sound close to P90?
