Seymour Duncan pickups

Hi all,
I found several e-shops selling Seyour Duncan pickups but to the US territory only (while other goods they can send worldwide). Could you please tell me the reason? I know these pickups are available in Europe etc. but at higher prices.
Please correct me if I'm posting this in an incorrect forum.

Probably because they have exclusivity deals with specific distributors that limit the scope of their sales market.

Worse comes to worst, just hit eBay. There are plenty of sellers with used pickups that ship internationally. You'll save some money that way.
