Seymour Duncan Pickups

Hi everyone, I'm a new member.

I have a pretty nice guitar Collection from an Ibanez SA130FM (one of the cheapest guitar Ibanez makes), to a Schecter Hellraiser Hybrid FR Sustainiac. Since I have guitars with an awesome sound, I decided to replaced the pickups in my Ibanez SA (a $400.00 guitar will give you just a $400.00 sound), because it used to sound like an empty can of Coca Cola.

So, I bought a Seymour Duncan Lil 59 for the neck position, a Duckbuckers for the middle, and a JB Jr for the bridge position. Wow, that's all I have to say!!! I can't believe the sound I'm getting out of that guitar. Seymour Duncan Pickups are the s...

I am very satisfied with the outcome, and definitely I will buy only Seymour Duncan Pickups for now on.

I remember one of my band mates had an Epiphone Les Paul. The pickups were changed at one point to a JB and Jazz. I was sold when I hear it. I must have been 16 or 17. I like Duncans.

Welcome to the forum!

That's pretty much how most of us felt the first time we heard/used Duncans. In 2000, I bought a brand new limited edition blueburst Epiphone LP. A few months later I took out the stock hb's and put 59's in. The difference was astounding.

Still contemplating gutting the wiring of my goldtop LP and putting Whole Lotta Humbuckers into it. I hate to think I bought them for nothing.

I think all of us have had a similar experience when first installing Duncans in our guitars. Amazing tone compared to the original pups, no matter which Duncans we installed. Yes, truly great sounding pups.

Perhaps in time you will have the opportunity to try many more pups from Seymour and really appreciate his offerings.

Welcome to the forum! SD pickups are awesome, definitely a lot to choose from that covers just about every genre of music out there.
