After hearing Pete Thorn compare super 70's, Super Distortions etc in his Destroyer doing that EVH pickup shootout, its obvious to me that EVH was not using a Super 70's pickup in that guitar. The Super Distortion / Mighty Mite just nailed that sound. I doubt it was, but an SH-5 could have done it too its very similarly spec'd. Didn't Seymour work for Mighty Mite at some point?
