Hi

I have a new guitar that came with an SH-6n and for my ears it sounds a lot like the Evolution Neck I had in my previous guitar, or it could be my setup, or my fingers?

The both sounds awesome btw.

How do this pickups compares based in their sound, freq-response, output, etc. ???

The likely silmilarity is that both have a hyped upper midrange response but also likely much of it will be how you play, amp settings ect. While i have not used the sh-6 in the neck slot i have in the bridge. I also have a jem which is stock with the evos. I would think the sh-6 is a bit brighter as it does not have the low end response of the evo accordding to their separate E.Q specs. Hpoe this hepls and WELCOME to the forum.

I've found that all magnet types carry their own voice with just a different EQ and dynamics.

So yes, after trying 6 ceramics, they all sounds similar to me with minor differences.
