Seymour wound or MJ wound? Any difference?

I noticed that the Antiquities and Custom Shop orders are produced either by the venerable Maricella Juarez or by Seymour himself. Of course, they're both two of the best pickup makers in the business, but my question is....
Do they wind the particular models EXACTLY the same, or is there any slight difference, which would result in two pickups having a slightly different sound or output? Would an Antiquity wound by MJ have her signature, or do they all have Seymour's signature? I know they're trivial questions, but I've always wondered.

dont know. i think all my buckers were done by mj and all my singles were done by seymour

I asked MJ about this and she proudly informed me that she winds 90% of the Antiquitys these days...and that there is no difference. I guess after working together for so many years that they both follow the same pre-determined patterns and layering techniques. Lew

i guess i am an odd one, it seems all my ants were wound by seymour himself. I wonder if there is any difference, i doubt it.

They are ALL signed by Seymour...whether he actually wound them or not. Lew

How would one know who wound them? Besides brushing for fingerprints, of course.

That's what I wanted to know. All the Antiquities I've seen have Seymour's signature, which is understandable...it's HIS company, and he founded all the designs. I always thought it would be cool to see a limited run of MJ Custom Shops, kinda like Abigail Ybarra's Custom Shop Strat pickups.
