i have 2 guitars with minibuckers in place of the original P90s and love both...
Dean Z with Dimarzio vintage minis and Hamer Studio Custom GT with Gibby minis...
both neck pups work great for me but both bridge pups are too bright and a bit thin and weak...
i generally use both guitars on neck pup or both pups with the bridge dialed down in the blend...
ok...now...
i have a Hamer Artist Korina with P90s that i think will sound great with good minis....thinking the Seymourized in bridge will overcome the "deficiencies" of the other bridge minis, especially in this guitar....and the SD Vintage mini in the neck...
i'm wanting clean blues tones...deep, full, and round....and figure this will get me there unless the Seymourized is too hot for me or not a good match with the Vintage in the neck...
i'm guessing a Seymourized in the neck would end up a bit too bassy or hot...
or should i consider the Antiquity Minis?....loved the SD Antiquity P90 i had in another axe...
