hello guys, long time no see..
had a few questions about the sfx-03 that i asked evan, which
he has asked me to post in public so everyone can know..
here's my original message:
hello Evan,
right now, im in New Jersey..
our family moved from Korea to NJ because of my dad's job..
anyway, im looking to purchase a twin tube classic,
and i have a few questions:
1. i've read the online manual, and i still can't find out how much gain the sfx-03 has..76dB at 500Hz?
i'm not sure how 'gainy' that is, but from the soundclips, it was pretty saturated, not exactly compressed high gain though.
Could you give a fair comparison of the gain amount between the sfx-03 and other famous dist/od's?
2. I will use this in the US, but when i move back to korea, i realize the US adapter will not be compatible with the 220 voltage..
and i've read the 220v adapter for the sfx-03 is only available from the SD company, not in regular electronic shops..
do your dealers sell a separate adapter for 220v use?
(just so i can keep it for spare and use it in korea)
as always, thank you for your time and help!
can't wait to try it out tomorrow!
