It depends on whether you do a lot of whammy bar work you do. I like my P-90s better in my Les Paul. I love the Seth in my SG. Not as happy with the humbucker in my Strat. I love the 59 in my Tele. I tend to like the single coils better in my Strat. However, I play a Strat or a Tele most of the time. I would get one of each if you can.

Or you could get the Jerry Cantrell G&L Rampage and have a push-pull coil split. Bare-bones guitars are more versatile than you think...Don't underestimate them.

I found a local shop that had a Cobain Jaguar. I am getting one, it is amazing and different from what I have.

He was probably looking at the USA version ($2k), not the import Tribute series. Comparing American to American, the G&L is more expensive.

He was probably looking at the USA version ($2k), not the import Tribute series. Comparing American to American, the G&L is more expensive.

But we all know that G&L has OUTSTANDING quality. Even their imports are comparable, and maybe even better, than some USA Fenders or Gibsons. The Jerry Cantrell tribute is something that might really do the job.
