Sh-1 59 and SH-5 custom wiring help

So i have just bought 2 new pickups, the SH-1 59 neck and the SH-5 custom bridge and they are going with a volume knob and a tone knob with a 3 way blade or lever switch. My problem is that the Sh-1 has only 1 wire with some sort of braid around it and the Sh-5 has 4 wires and a ground. I have done a little bit of research and found that the inside wire on the SH-1 is the hot and the braid is the ground. With this information i have made a diagram based on one of the wiring diagrams from here and just want to verify that this will work. Any help is much appreciated.

btw the white wire is pink in this so you can see it.

Don't forget to ground the 3rd lug on the volume knob.

But as Mincer said, make sure you ground that third volume lug!

Also, you need a capacitor for that tone control.

Thanks for your help guys! Im a bit of a novice at soldering so its quite messy but it works lol. Thanks for the advice about the 3rd lug i completely forgot about it lol. Btw these bad boys sound great!
