Sh-4 JB neck model?

I heard about a phantomatic sh4 for neck position but there's nothing on SD site.
Has it ever seen the light? :laugh2:
Is there a way to put a bridge pickup in neck position?:chairfall

there is no pickup called JB neck..... the Jazz neck is the pick made to work with the JB, so in short the the JAZZ neck is JB neck

JB neck...hmmm....i wonder why would ppl even bother putting info like that online. however some guys here have put in the JB in the neck position and liked it! cant remember who, hope they read this.

I've used a JBn/JBb setup myself. In the neck it is super smooth and thick, which I like because I usually solo with the neck pickup.

It was very useful in the neck position (and pretty balanced) when I paired it with a Dimarzio X2N in the bridge position. I don't recommend this setup for sparkling cleans though, lol.

i have a jb neck....its a distortion neck that i put a alnico 5 in....the bridge distortion and jb both have the same wind soooo if you put a a5 in a distortion neck its a calibrated jb neck....its sounds good with the bridge

distortion neck has different windings then a distortion bridge i believe. so i dont think thats makes it somewhat a JB neck... lol...
anyway u have clips on that? im interested!

Give the man a prize! This is THE truest version of the JB neck. A Jazz is NOT a JB neck. It is a pup that goes well with the JB. By the "Jazz is a JB neck" philosophy, is a Pearly gates actually a Custom neck because they pair well? NO!!!!

The winds on a Distortion neck are different than the bridge - there are less of them!And neither of these is the same as using a JB in the neck...which Zerb does.

My 2014 Jackson USA King V 2 came New stock with SH-4 Neck and bridge and its made for the Neck position, so they do make them for the neck position as the magnet screws on top are opposite of the bridge pickup.

The Dimarzio Air Norton Neck makes a very good match for the JB Bridge.

I did that exact same thing on a floyd rose strat worked perfectly.

Which guitar you had it in? I'm thinking of pairing JB in neck position with Gibson Dirty Fingers at bridge in Epiphone Explorer. My DF is of similar power to the X2N, however, has more highs. Currently it's paired with another DF in neck position. Sounds decent, but I think JB could be better clean.

True that. In my opinion, the best neck match for a JB is a JB Jr. neck model. That just so happens to be the closest offering SD has to a neck version of the JB.

There is a JB Junior neck pickup. It is a single coil sized humbucker. It is not the same size as the SH4 JB, but it is called a JB Jr. Maybe thats what your bud was talking about?
