P90s are the best pop punk pups. Ramones. Green Day. Teles will get you Clash, etc.

The bald guitarist in Simple Plan uses an Air Norton in the neck and a Air Zone in the bridge of his HH Tele.

I was just thinking too that a Tele with a hot pickup in it will get a nice punk sound too, similar to that of a P-90. And I agree, P-90's and punk go hand in hand.
