SH-5b with SH-6n in Les Paul Standard?

Have a weight relieved LP Standard that has a PG neck and a SH-5b Custom bridge. Love both the pickups separately but they just don't gel with each other as a pair to my ears. I am thinking of putting a SH-6n Distortion in place of the PG.

Anybody have a LP with a Custom bridge / Distortion neck?

Any thoughts on the probable results?

I want the heavy PAF sound the Custom brings in the bridge duplicated into the neck.

That would certainly be heavy, and I think those are great choices.
