SH-6 Distortion VS. SH-5 Custom

So I've used the DD as my bridge pickup. Great so far with chunk, tightness and clarity. I was just wondering how much of a difference changing to a Duncan Custom for the fun of it would it be? Any thoughts and comments would be appreciated.

Also, what is the best Duncan Humbucker for the neck position for really clean, smooth and warm tones? I find the Distortion in my neck to lack the warmth that I want. I really dont use my neck pickup for distortion...

Thanks bros!

I own/play both. Overall, i prefer the DD. The custom has a "bigger" lowend which can become boomy in some guitars; it does stay fairly tight though. Whereas the DD punches through aggressively with powerful spiked mids, the custom cuts through with piercing highs.

i don't think the mids are too spike though, not as much as the jb anyway.

i use a jazz neck that has beautiful, crystal cleans. the 59 is not a bright, but also has really good cleans.
