Just swapped mag in my neck position 59' (in a Yamaha SG2000) and it reaaaallly sounds good. A little less output but much sweeter.
Sounds like a fatter Alnico II pro, which is the reason I did not quite like it when I tried it a few months ago. In fact it sounds really close to a Gibson 490R now. It is dark sounding, which I like. Very jazzy, and "flute-y :-D" when used with distortion.
Now I am thinking to install an A4 magnet in my Custom $, which sounds a bit too bright in this guitar.
