Re: SH11 (humbucker) in single format?
A single-coil-sized humbucker that sounds like the CustomCustom is probably not going to happen unless you go Custom Shop.
Looking at the Comparison Chart -
http://www.seymourduncan.com/comparetones - you see the CC has the following ratings:
14.4k DC Resistance
5.2kHz Resonant Peak
Alnico 2 magnet
EQ curve Bass (3) Mid (7) and High (7)
The closest single-sized humbucker that comes close to having the same output AND EQ curve is the Hot Stack:
20.6k DC Resistance
6kHz Resonant Peak
Ceramic magnet
EQ curve Bass (4) Mid (5) High (6)
While the ceramic magnet will give it a hotter level than the A2, the EQ curve is a closer match than any other. Most of the others have more bass and highs than mids, even though they may be closer to the CC's output level. Almost all the single-sized humbuckers have ceramic magnets. The stacked singles have Alnico 5 rods. While those will be closer to the A2, their EQ curves are, again, radically different.
You could try a Lil59 neck in the bridge position, as it has a Resonant Peak of 5.8kHz, which is closer to the CC's 5.2kHz R.P., but again you're going to get more bass than mids, which the CC does not.
