Sh4 or Sh5 for low tunings?

Hi mates, I have both SD sh4 and sh5 available, I wonder which one would suits better low tunings in the bridge position ( C / C flat ).
The tone pot will be at zero, like Jimi Bower from Eyehategod does in his guitars.
My drive comes from pedals, russian and op amp muffs, superfuzz type pedals and Rat's.
I want harshness, yet with definition.
The body is mahogany.
Thanks in advance

I agree..the Custom is much tighter in lower tunings.

How do you plan on getting harshness or definition with the tone pot at 0?

With that much fuzz and the tone rolled completely off, you’re not gonna hear a ton of difference between the two. I think Jimmy uses Rio Grande PAFs, for what it’s worth.

I don't know if it's of any help, but here is an album I did for TV use:

Listen to the track no. 11, it's in C# and I tried to achieve modern metal sound...signal chain was Sh-5 in Partcaster > Wampler Triple Wreck > Amp Sim in PC.
