SH5 Duncan custom 7 pole??

:banghead: ok, not to sound too stupid...lol... but i got a great deal at GC on a Duncan Custom SH5($49+tax)(it was missing screws under pole pieces along with two screws and springs for adjustment), got my step sons les paul peewee almost completely apart and was swapping out screws when a horrible thing happened, the six screws(the ones under the pole peices) on his old hb got all used up when I noticed a odd thing, the duncan had one screw in it already, ok, so thats 6 screws off old epi hb, plus one screw already on duncan custom..... uhhhhmmmmm...that equals SEVEN!!!!!!!!! So tell me my friends, I screwed up didn't I?? you cant put a 7pole hb on a 6 string guitar can you???? Afterall, the pole pieces most likely wont line up on the strings right?? Just let me know if my guessess are right or wrong here so I can put his pup back in and attempt to sell duncan somewhere... thanks...

Just lined them up, the 7 pole is wider at the base the the 6 so even if i could it would require more work then i wanna do..lol... bad part is i told the person that helped me what the exact guitar i was using it on... I almost put it back, but they naturally were like oh yeah this will be a good one for you since its a great deal(non returnable unless nonworking)

Got this thing today and stuck it in my H-207 (after swapping the screw poles) and it sounds great, much more defined and lively than the duncan designed bridge.
