They're great...I'e had gas for one of those, with an EQ-5 pup for a long, long time haha (..just missed out on some at ebay auctions a couple of times as well.. :( )

I was just looking at all the pictures thinking how cool they are. Yeah keep your eye out they come around once in a few years and always for a fair price. I actually saw a eq5 prototype on ebay.us it went for $300 it even had a graphic on the front with settings for it.

Hae you seen my shadow s100? haha i know you have/

And i found this guitar in a thread on here, The only one who showed any interest was tld i think haha.

i dont know if this thing is a fake or what but it looks good. I didnt no they ever made an lp style maybe it was a one off? It has the right bridge,plate,pikup,matching headstock and logo so if its fake its ****ing good

Hmm. I always forget that these were German made. I always assumed back in the day that they were cheap copies of the Kramers that were hot. I dont think I ever played one. I surely never realized (or likely ,dont remember) that they had the cool technology

I think there is some confusion as the last of the line up was built ''assembled'' in the eko factory which at the same time produced kramer pacer custom ll's This is why mine has a factory pacer ll truss rod cover,It also has no number on the neck plate as the ran out of gold plates. This is why the ebay lots have all been chrome. Sounds odd but this is what i have been told. I will be getting more info as i want to make a website dedicated to them.

My mate has a nice one and i want to offer him a trade on my carvin dc for it. How keens that hey. haha

yeah I've seen your guitar ..it's sweet! I might have even bid on it I think, lol....did'nt happen to get it off ebay UK did you?

They do usually go for criminally low prices as you said...

Never seen one like that quilt top you posted...but it looks legit to me..

Nar i got it here in aus for $400 with a alloy flight case.

The one I was bidding on went for $300 (I think shipping was about $120 extra..no case) ...it was absolutely mint too :(

The article in German is about the brand's history and their contemporary manufacturing methods. The Vigiers seem to be an ad. The singlecut is mentioned as being a prototype. So you've scored big time, I guess.
