Hey everyone...
I am calling on the collective wisdom of the SDUG forum. I would like to compile a collection of essential/must-know lead guitar licks and patterns to share with some of my students. I know that there are books available for this sort of thing - but I want YOUR ideas.
There is a fairly diverse palette of musical tastes here... and all I ask is that you submit those licks/patterns that YOU feel are essential for any lead guitarist to know.
I am not only looking for the help of the most experienced members here - even the newbs are encouraged to participate.
You may choose your format, but tab works best - or upload a file. However you want to do this. I would also ask that you cite your references (so to speak - let's not make this a college thesis), simply stating the inspiration or origin of each lick/pattern. If you don't know, that's fine too.
The more, the better!
