Shielded Strat Pickup Covers?

My Strat clone is a little noisy, even in the noiseless positions. It is perfectly noiseless when I'm touching the strings or have the volume off, but it's noticeably noisy when I don't do either of those things. Does anyone make pre-shielded Strat pickup covers?

The noise when not touching your strings is a grounding path that is complete when you touch the metal. It doesn't enter via the pickups.

...and shielding covers tend to bring eddy currents, trimming a wee bit the high frequencies. It can be useful to shape the tone but it's not neutral.

double check your ground connections, look for ground loops eventually. rule of thumbs : connect EVERY ground wire in a single point, for example the back of the volume pot
