Ok, i will redo the complete Wiring on my Jackson DXMG once i have my Airzone for the bridge. The EMG HZs will go out in a set and the neck slot will stay empty for a hopefully short time. I'm gonna wire it with two Push/pulls to have individual volume/split for each pup(no tone pot),put a new 3-way switch in there(no need for more with the push/pulls) and replace the jack also. So with everything done this way i'll just have to solder the wires from the neck pup in and everything is complete, once i get one.
So far for the plan, now to my real question:
The guitar is dead quiet now with the EMG HZs(might be because they are pretty low output and potted to the max) even without any shielded wire.
Since the Dimarzios i'm gonna put in there(Air Norton/Air Zone) will be much higher output and not potted, might i want to use more shielding than the obligatory shielded wire between jack and switch(rest of the wires will be kept short) to keep them quiet?Shielding foil, or more shielded wire necessary?
