shielding ground

hey,

my shielding ground is disconnected. U know the blue shielding wraped around the 4 wires.
May this cause buzzing?
Cuz I got a huming problem. I not good in wiring so may this be the problem?

nahh--

buzzing is the string ground is disconected--

or you have put Hot wires to ground--somewhere?

also check the input jack -- if ya worked on it -- one of the loudest buzz's in this Tech bizz-- comes from fliping the hot to ground at the input jack.
