OK, there is nothing here really resembling guitar, but it was all performed on guitar...well, guitar synth, at least. I guess it is sort of a demonstration of looping, as you can really hear the layers start to overlap- it was recorded live.

Guitar synthing all the way here, a sound landscape! Not my territory but you did good job, imo :bigthumb: Sounds like something that could fit into the soundtracks of Final Fantasy!

Re: Short Mincer clip

percussion and xylophone on guitar....AWESOME. I'll be gettin a midi guitar setup somewhere down the track

Also, my looper should be arriving soon. I got a boss loop station. have you ever tried one mincer?

Re: Short Mincer clip

great stuff, mincer

do you create your own synth patches for the most part, or do you use the stock patches mostly?

Thanks for the kind words, everyone!
t4d, I always edit the factory patches, although, since they are samples, the edits are pretty much fixing volume problems as well as adding effects. With pad sounds, I generally adjust the ADSR envelopes as well. I tend to go for more organic sounds rather than electronic, so I am not really programming in the Moog Modular sense. I just tweak to be better for guitar synth triggering, and to make sure it balances well with the rest of the stuff.
larry, the loop station is a nice unit, specifically used for rhtyhmic loops- you will get more milage out of it if you add the additional foot controllers, but it sounds great and is easy to use.
For a small looper, I use the Line6 DL4, which is also a great delay pedal...this was recorded with an Oberheim Digiteal Echoplex Pro, which is a pretty awesome rack mounted looper- you can do some crazy stuff with it.
