Alright, the Visual Sounds Route 66 I snagged off Ebay came in today so I decided to lay down a quick clip while I had a minute. It's only about 40 seconds, but you can get a decent idea of what it can do.
Anyways, on to the setup. I plugged my Schecter (bridge pickup, Duncan C5) into the pedal with the settings shown in the pic below, then plugged the pedal straight into my PC sound card. I was using both sides at once here, with both the "tone control" on the compressor side and "bass boost" on the OD side turned on. I recorded using Cool Edit Pro, and only added a bit of reverb (no EQ adjustments, it's flat). Also, my computer farted around 0:44, and it made the same noise over my speakers as I was recording so I'm not sure exactly what that was.
I think it sounds great direct, I hope I have time tonight to drop it on the pedal board and see how it sounds pushin' the tubes. I'm thinking I am going to enjoy this pedal very much .
