Should I buy this Washburn

Re: Should I buy this Washburn

Idol, I think. It is worth as much as somebody is willing to pay for it. If you have tried the instrument and like it, haggle the price down a bit, then buy it.

Re: Should I buy this Washburn

tough to say there were quite a lot of idols $500 could be fair for some

they had import and usa made versions and within those different tiers for woods, cosmetic options, etc.

some came with duncan pickups (I believe 59/custom)

If you tried and played it what do you think it's worth?

I dig the color btw but I'm partial to green having a drumkit of 10 green drums (+3 snares), and several green guitars, a green jacket, etc

No, don't do it. It's a Washburn WI64 import model. Below is a link to the same guitar on eBay with a BIN price of $275. On the flip side, I have a green Washburn WI568 USA Custom Shop model for sale that's not much more than what you were expecting to pay. See second link below.

Re: Should I buy this Washburn

Most used USA Washburns except the Nuno and Stanely models go for around $400-500 in good condition from what I've seen.

Re: Should I buy this Washburn

I would maybe go as high as $300 just cuz it's green so it's guaranteed to sound good but import Idols are generally $200 axes...

Re: Should I buy this Washburn

Show him two hundred in twenty's.
If he doesn't take it, walk away.

Re: Should I buy this Washburn

Don't buy it; it's clearly a miniature. Look how tiny it is compared to that Strat headstock.
