Sorry I meant RC-UOA5

A opposed to installing an Alnico Pro or PG set in the Les Paul, what do you think about the WLH set, mag swap for Rock and Blues Rock? I dig the nuances of the unoriented mags.

Just install the WLH set and leave well enough alone; it has nuance enough...

Maybe but IMO, they sound more "straight" like normal A5 / hot T Top as opposed to a great 50's A2 / A4 PAF. It could have been the guys amp though.

The best advice anyone can give you!. Given the price and how much tonal personality they already have, I would not mod them. You would simply be creating a possibility that you could **** up your already sweet humbucker(s) - if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

as someone who pulled the aged a5 from a custom shop brobucker and swapped in an a2 I say do what ya want. the wlh set sounds awesome as it is but mag swaps are easily reversible if you so choose
