show your ESP's and LTD's with passive pickups

Re: show your ESP's and LTD's with passive pickups

My ESP. It looks to have been a custom shop order. Ash body, maple top, ebony fretboard. The stock pickups were ESP hot dual rail pickups. I didn't think they sounded very good so in the guitar now are a pair of Li'l 59's and a Tone Zone S. That's a great pickup combination. I'm very happy with the sound now.

I'm really diggin' your ESP!! Everything, from the color to the materials it would be something I'll be playing every day! I would only change the bridge pickup to a Li'l Screamin' Demon and put a Vintage Stagered single coil in the middle just because its closer to what I use, but the Tone Zone S it's a killer pickup too! :approve:

An update for you guys. Got this as a trade-in for my Eclipse (pictured in an earlier post somewhere). Was sad to let it go but I suppose this new fiddle will eventually provide :cool2:

Kidding of course - this is the best guitar I have ever seen or heard. A CS M-II with Duncan Custom & '59 I just installed in place of a set of EMGs.

update:

the brown MH-350NT has a pearly gates plus in the bridge, a regular pearly gates bridge in the middle, and a burstbucker 1 in the neck.

the H-401FM still has a custom 8 and a burstbucker 3 with triple shots

the M-100 has a full shred with a ceramic magnet and a 496R

ESP had a 'Special Order' programme going which was discontinued in December 2012. It's not made public, only your dealer would've the details, which was basically a slight mod to any existing non-custom models. The total cost of which should not exceed a Custom order, if it was the case, you'd be referred to the manufacturer's custom order division. The guitar above is a product of this arrangement, it's a Standard series M-II with the neck full sized humbucker making way for...

... a Duncan Classic Stack Plus. The bridge humbucker is a default JB Trembucker which I am absolutely happy with (then again, I'm always happy when there's a JB in the bridge of any guitars).

PS: ESP fans, in addition to the LTD Elite range, the manufacturer has at least 2 more announcements pertaining to line-up changes. Doubt if they'd do so for the coming '13 NAMM but they will happen. Soon, I guess.

Not quite- the Maverick doesn't sport the M-II cutaway. It's basically an M-II Deluxe (discontinued) with a maple 'board.

Re: show your ESP's and LTD's with passive pickups

Thanks- was gonna have another Special Order going before X-mas last year but was told the news, so...

Re: show your ESP's and LTD's with passive pickups

That's hot. Are those ninja's neck heavy? I had the second generation Black hard tail LTD, and i was very bummed when it went south when i strapped it on. needless to say i didnt have it for very long, neck dives annoy me very much.

The black one is not really but my old red one was. the necks are maple/ebony on those so the neck itself is much heavier.

There's been an ESP red one on ebay for like a year already, I kind of want it but for twice that I could get a new one to my specs. (crazy money though)

Here's something a little different. Jazz and Custom/59 hybrid in the bridge.
