I don't like my colors facing each other either. I prefer the way Slash has his. I'm fixing to replace a burstbucker 3 with a SH-5 reverse zebra in my SG. The Seymour zebra matches pretty close with the Gibson color. I'm posting a pic in case anyone ever wants to know how close of a match it is.View attachment 88826

Thanks to BTMN and his Hamer's this is what I ended up with. Amazingly my guitar has aged just enough that the bobbins and the rings match really closely.

I finally took a picture outside with this guitar, flame and chatoyancy really showing and the single birdseye actually is visable. The pickups are effn amazing too. Went with more vintage sounding PAF's, also ended up doing a full Jimmy Pave harness with 500k pots. OOP with the neck split sounds effing amazing.

I just bought a SH-1 '59 for its neck position. The bridge zebra is a japanese 80's close to the SH-6 "DD" (MMK45 I think).
