My dad bought this pedal steel a while back in hopes of learning how to play it. Long story short that has not happened yet nor will it ever. He bought it from a studio cat here in north GA. I dont know a ton about pedal steels, but I do know enough about instruments in general to know that this is a top of the line pedal steel. It is made by Sierra and is model number S-10. It has 3 foot pedals and 3 or 4 levers. I was amazed when I first saw the craftsmanship of these. I have since compared it to other models I have seen out and about and there is no comparison. If you are knowledgeable about steels then you can come play this one and see for yourself how nice it is. I have plugged it into my Vibrolux Reverb and it sounds way cool (even though I cant play it I can tell the tone is there.)
It comes with a hardcase with wheels that is made to perfectly fit this guitar. Dad said he would like to trade it towards another guitar like a Gretsch . OR... he said that he would trade it for just about anything under the sun as long as it interests him and is of equal value.
I'm pretty sure his cash price would be $1400-$1500
