Ok, as some of you know i am getting a silvertone 1484 head, and a cab for EXTREMELY cheap, to be precise 200$ canadian, i have 2 questions about this amp, one, it OBVIOUSLY will not be able to play metal(by metal i mean black sabbath, to Iron maiden), i can live, but if i want to what pedals do you recommend?, plus how does it take pedals?(no boss metal zone ****). and question 2, can you swap out 6L6 tubes for any other type of tubes?, this will be my first "real" amp. and another question is, the exterior of the cab and head has a couple of tears in it, how hard would it be to make a new inclosure for the speakers?
P.S i have a electro harmonix big muff(USA), so i can handle early sabbath tones with that.
