Since I quit my metal band, this is what I've been up to...

CTN

The Drama Dude
blues rock. and blues. and some light jazzy stuff.

Oh yes!

My amp is a Jet City JCA100.

You guys get to figure out what other equipment I used. (guitar, pickups, bass, pedals, cab/speakers etc)

P.S. this is incomplete. I have yet to add leads/solos and some keyboard bits too...and I have to write lyrics/record them. Might wait until I get a new mic before that happens though.

hellz yeah!!! blues rock is supposed to groove, no?

Re: Since I quit my metal band, this is what I've been up to...

I really really like this. Great tones - they fit the music very well. Looking forward to hearing more in this vein.

REALLY good, man!

As for gear, I have no effing clue. I just like what I'm hearing.

Re: Since I quit my metal band, this is what I've been up to...

I dug it. That totally sets up for a ripping solo.

hahahaha I'm so glad you guys dig it!

groovin blues rock is exactly where I wanna be with this stuff. I always get tired of blues albums that start off rocking for the first couple songs and then put me to sleep for the rest of it, so I decided to create an album that sticks to rocking your face off for the whole thing!

Btw, for gear list:

Rhythm Guitars:
- Fender '62 RI strat
- DiMarzio Fast Track 2 in the neck position (wired parallel)
- Boss GE-7 for bringing out some low mids and highs a bit better
- JCA100 overdrive channel, set to almost no gain
- lineout from the JCA100 through a crappy Behringer tube mic/line preamp (with a TungSol 12ax7) to my computer using cab sim/impulses and nothing else

Bass:
- exactly the same as above except:
---Boss GE-7 with all treble taken out
---JCA100 clean channel, no mids or treble, bass all the way up
---Pitch shifted down an octave
---Added compression, EQ and dynamics processing
---Cab sim with fender bassman impulses (SM57, SM57 off axis, Neumann U87, Audio Technica 4040 all at the same time)
---Me playing the crap out of it with my fingers!

Drums were all from Addictive Drums (sounds SO much better than stupid Drumkit from Hell)

This is REALLY good! Def a great base for some tasty lead playing!

The only thing I could possibly guess is that that is a Strat. As for the rest, I have no clue.

Now THAT'S some fun, hard rocking blues riffs. :fing2:

Yes! now this rocks. Best thing I've heard on here in a while, IMO, of course. Very nice job, Bro. Keep it up.

Peace,

Darrin.
