I find alot of classic vibe squiers and the new vintage modified squiers MILES above MIM Fenders ... Just my experience with gigging and playing both ends of the spectrum. I have owned vintage fenders aswell and the squiers are very nice and I ultimately play with a Classic vibe Telecaster custom and a Vintage Modified Telecaster deluxe... they just resonate and feel right to me and I don't worry about gigging with them since they were 300 and 400 bucks
