One thing just occurred to me.
Both Ian Gillan and Glenn Hughes, after playing with Blackmore, stayed with Stratocaster slingers for the rest of their lives (when given a choice, aka headlining their own gig).
The exception is Dio, but he needed the really fat sound.
Any others that stick with Fender singles?
