Single coil for neck to compliment PATB-1 in bridge

One step closer to getting my project Strat together. Just picked up a PATB-1 for the bridge. My project is a two pickup setup with a humbucker in the bridge and a single in the neck. I'm looking for a good versatile single to drop in the neck. I'd like to retain a little of that Strat neck tone if possible while finding something that will work with or compliment the PATB-1 well. Any suggestions? I'm thinking something a little warm and smoothe. Looking for any recommendations and descriptions that you can share. Thanks! I'm so looking forward to finally getting this baby together!

What!? Since when did they make those? :eyecrazy:

I use a dimarzio virtual vintage solo on mine currently, it's good all round hum canceling strat pup. I'd like to try the Cruiser some time actually.

I hate to bump an old thread but I could really use some suggestions here. I'm just looking for a single coil to drop in the neck that will compliment my PATB-1 in the bridge of my Strat. Looking for something that will help maintain some classic Strat tones and will compliment my PATB-1 in terms of tone and output. I have a few in mind:

SSL-5
SSL-4
SSL-7

Any thoughts on these combinations? This is a H-S setup. No middle PU. Thanks for your help!
