I have a 1964 Airline Stratotone in very good shape except for the lack of output on the pickup. I'm looking for a single coil (neck position) to replace it but with an absolute minimum of damage to the guitar (ie., no new screw holes). I've been looking but can't find anything appropriate. Ideally, this would ultimately sound like a hollow body Esquire. Any suggestions out there?
