Hey,
My friend gifted me a SD Custom Custom for my birthday today : party: Now I'm wondering which neck pickup I ought to get to replace the stock pup on my Cort 250g.
Ok, so here are the details - Cort 250g (left handed, basswood body, maple neck, rosewood fretboard). It's a H-S-S configuration with a 5 way selector, tone knob and coil tap at the bridge.
I'm looking for something that will give me a lead tone that can cut through and sound fuller than my current mightymite stock neck pickup (which is very nasal). We typically play hard rock/metal (Sabbath/Maiden/Metallica/Megadeth). I've been eyeing the Cool Rails but I'm still very undecided. Any suggestions?

ps: Will the Custom Custom sound muddy on my guitar? I love the warm tone of the Custom Custom, but the 'ideal for bright guitars' bit is somewhat disconcerting. :sword:
