I am a long time Strat player and was thinking of trying a little 59 or something like that. I am looking for a true humbucker sound and output.

I like the JB Jr and Cool rails bridge or Hot rails for the heavy stuff. In Dimarzio's, the Chopper or Tone Zone for the heavy stuff, according to which type of music you play.

youll never get a single coil sized bucker to sound exactly like a full size one, they dont sense the same amount of string but output is comparable. a lil 59 bridge model can sound really great for classic rock and blues. the cool rails is similar but with a blade design.

Try the Lil59, Cool Rails or Dimarzio Chopper. The Lil59 has more top end sparkle err twang and grind out of those. The Cool Rails seem to be a llitle more round. The Chopper covers a lot of ground with less twang and is touch sensative.
All of these will get you what you want. The type strings you use has great effect to my ears. Nickel plated versus nickel wound, the nickel wound are smoother, more vintage and will likely work well with your music style and the 5E3 Victoria amp or Dr. z
Try out some DR Pure Blues if you hav'nt.

The Lil '59 sounds great for classic rock and blues in a Strat. Another alternative would be the SSL-5 - a hot single coil. It's not humbucking but it adds plenty of output and midrange and makes for a very versatile Strat when combined with vintage-type Strat pups in the middle and neck. They are both excellent pups - the SSL-5 has the advantage of retaining the classic Strat look, the trade-off being that it isn't humbucking. Whatever you choose make sure to wire your Strat with a tone control on the bridge pickup. Rolling off the treble really helps with those fat humbucker-esque tones.
