Single conductor or 4 conductor

You use a 4 conductor pup to split right? I just want to make sure that the neck pup and the bridge pup are both "on" in the "middle" switch position. Just like stock, nothing fancy :33:

if they are the same brand then single cond is fine

So then a single conductor '59 neck pup will be active in the middle switch position with my Demon bridge. Or is there a better split I should know about that has better MOJO to it.
