Single humbucker guitars

I am really interested in purchasing a single humbucker guitar. The trouble is I cannot seem to find many at all. I don't really care about brand but would like to have heard of it. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!

Re: Single humbucker guitars

there's not a ton but they're there if you look long enough.

Or do what I do on some of mine and just remove all but the humbucker.

Re: Single humbucker guitars

The easiest way is with a custom pickguard on a Strat/front routed Charvel style guitar.

Used Carvin dc125,,,,,, not too pricey and many already have stainless frets.

F1000's are a good choice too. Just watch for the ridiculously overpriced ones on eBay and reverb.

Re: Single humbucker guitars

I put a Schaller 456 bridge, bone nut, Grover tuners, a Dimarzio Bluesbucker, and wired a spin-a-split on this $100 Epiphone Jr. It's fantastic, and they're everywhere.
