Single like a Gibson BB

Hello guys,
that you know, there is a pickup (single-coil size) that has same characteristics - equalization and output - of Gibson BB pro?
Thanks in advance

That would be a hard one to nail down, but I'd guess the Lil '59 would get you close.

Re: Single like a Gibson BB

My Burstbuckers are what I would call bright in tone, yet smooth in response. Easy to get plenty of treble, and to get rid of the typical LP mud in the low end without loosing the creaminess, but not what I would call an extremely biting pickup in a LP. My Paul with Burstbuckers is, in terms of tone, the most Fender-like Gibson I've ever played, when I am using the bridge p/u. (The neck p/u is still "all Gibson.") However, the attack is certainly much smoother than a Tele or Strat bridge pickup. It has the highs of a Fender single coil, but doesn't "bite" like one.

Is that sort of what you are after? Bright tone but a smooth response? Or am I totally off the mark?

What guitar is it for?

I doubt you're going to find any single coil sized pup that has the same sound as a BB Pro. That's a pretty meaty and agressive sound.

I like neck BB in my LP standard: so full of bass, creamy but defined (IMO of course). I love this pup almost like '57...
The guitar is a strat type (rear rout), 24,75” diapason, mahogany body and goncalo alves neck (all by Warmoth).
3 sc rout and hardtail (hipshot) bridge. 1V, 1T 5way switch.
:D

A friend of mine recommended me dimarzio injector (bridge and neck).
These pups (alnico II) doesn't seem like Gibson BB Pro (alnicoV) - tone, eq.- . Above all have a low output compare with BB.
Or I'm wrong?
